Product Warranty And Returns Policy
PRODUCT WARRANTY POLICY
1 Old Dog Electronics warrants, to the original consumer purchaser, the Old Dog Electronics unit to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the original date of installation. Auxiliary devices not manufactured by Old Dog Electronics such as the siren are guaranteed for a period of 6 months from date of original purchase.
2 Old Dog Electronics will repair or replace, at its option and free of charge during the warranty period, any system component that proves defective in material or workmanship under proper installation, use, and service, provided the Product is returned to the dealer from which it was purchased.
3 Products returned to ourselves or the dealer must be accompanied by a photocopy of the purchasing information (original receipt w/ date & pricing).
4 The consumer is responsible for shipping the defective product to Old Dog Electronics.
5 Any damage to the product(s) as a result of misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, incorrect wiring, improper installation, destruction or alteration of the serial number, unauthorized or improper repair or alteration may void the warranty.
6 This warranty is limited to defective parts and specifically excludes any incidental or consequential damages connected therewith.
7 Old Dog Electronics makes no warranty against theft or otherwise. This warranty is not to be construed as an insurance policy against loss.
8 This warranty policy is subject to change at any time without notice.
RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY
Old Dog Electronics shall accept returned products or refund customers in accordance with Sections 55 and 56 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, Electronics Communications Act No.36 of 2005 and its Returns and Refunds Policy set out below.
* Please note that all returns are to be lodged with our email support division (oldddogelectronicsza@google.com) and will undergo our entire returns procedure as explained below in order to ensure the smoothest well documented returns experience possible.
Unwanted Products
1 You can return an unwanted product to us at no charge, provided:
it is undamaged and unused, with the original labels and stickers still attached;
it is in the original packaging, which must be undamaged and in its original condition with all seals still intact (if applicable);
it is not missing any accessories or parts;
you pay the return shipping;
you log a return with olddogelectronics@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery to you or collection by you of the unwanted product. After 7 days, you can only return a product if it is defective;
LOCAL SHIPPING POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
1 Orders will be shipped within the day of receipt of payment and not later than 2 days and are subject to availability. Delivery time may vary depending on which area items are being delivered to, and the service selected. We use the PAXI service, typical delivery times are between 3 and 5 or 7 to 9 working days. Please note that overnight shipping is only possible on these before mentioned working days. We will do our best to deliver your items as timeously as possible but shall not be held liable for any losses or damages of any kind incurred due to late delivery. Items are well packaged and protected. We reserve the right to charge our customers per the pricing structure mentioned in our delivery terms as well as change the pricing structure as we please without warning or consent. Once your package has been sent you will receive an e-mail confirming details including tracking and delivery information.

1 Please note that shipping fees for any international orders are subject to quotation. Contact us for relevant rates and shipping periods. All terms and conditions mentioned above are applicable. Please note that all customs clearance, duties and fees are to be furnished by the customer and we will not be held liable for any loss or damage incurred in any form resulting from this process. Full value and complete packing list will be accompanied with your order.
